Swing is delighted to announce the integration of Celer Network to its liquidity and bridge aggregator ecosystem. Moving forward, Swing will utilize Celer’s cBridge to expand its reach to Celer-compatible blockchains, and provide users of both communities with access to low-cost token transfers, deep liquidity, and the most efficient blockchain bridging.

Celer’s cBridge taps into multiple blockchains to enable fast and low-cost cross-chain transfers of tokens across EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) compatible networks, as well as their associated layer-2 platforms. Currently compatible with chains like Ethereum, Polygon, BSC, Arbitrum, Optimism, Aurora, and Avalanche, cBridge is also looking into further compatibility with popular non-EVM blockchains such as Solana in the coming months.

Swing Extends Its Cross-Chain Network with cBridge

The integration of Celer’s cBridge represents the third blockchain bridge to be added to the Swing protocol, joining Connext and Hop. Such partnerships have expanded Swing’s reach to encompass dozens of diverse blockchains while strengthening its network of liquidity sources, and adding to its blockchain bridge ecosystem.

With the addition of Celer Network, Swing facilitates the bridging of assets across a number of prominent blockchains, including Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, Avalanche, xDai, Fantom, Aurora, and more.

Swing and Celer Network apply the same low-risk technical approach to blockchain bridging by foregoing vendor lock-ins in favor of an Open Canonical Token Bridge standard. With the standard, token bridges on Swing can co-exist simultaneously across multiple blockchains without being tied to a single third-party network, or any single overseeing entity.

The Open Canonical Token standard evolves the bridging process by limiting the risk incurred by any single third-party bridge onboarded when users move assets across disparate blockchains, and in the meantime allowing protocols to adapt quickly to the flourishing blockchain interoperability space and make sure they always have the best bridging options and enhancements.

Celer cBridge’s compatibility with both layer-1 and layer-2 blockchains forms a sprawling network of interconnectivity that flattens an otherwise vertical and siloed DeFi landscape. Following the integration of cBridge, Swing stands poised to benefit from Celer’s growing network of compatible blockchains, and to offer its users a more expansive technological arena in which to operate.

About Swing

Swing is a cross-chain liquidity protocol on major EVM networks such as Polygon, BSC, Avalanche, xDai, Fantom and more. It aggregates major liquidity sources and bridges to execute the best price and lowest slippage on trades and transfers. The project helps crypto traders and yield farmers move crypto capital efficiently across blockchains via a web application and upcoming API product.

About Celer Network

Celer Network is a layer-2 scaling platform that brings fast, secure, and low-cost blockchain applications on Ethereum, Polkadot, and other blockchains to mass adoption. Celer launched the world’s first Generalized State Channel Network and continues to push the frontier of Layer-2 scaling with advanced Rollup technology. Core applications and middleware like cBridge, layer2.finance, and more ecosystem applications built on Celer have attracted large audiences in the DeFi, blockchain interoperability, and gaming spaces.
